The Guyra Park Motel
We are a small family run Business On the New England Highway, situated at the highest Point on the New England table land, Guyra offer some of the warmest people and best service. We are 4 1/2 hrs from Brisbane on the New England Highway or 6.1/2 Hrs from Sydney and a comfortable 3 star Motel.
The drive from either major town offers some of the best scenery and warm cultured places to visit.
Along the way you can pass through Tamworth and Visit the Golden guitar in the country's music capital, or Glenn Innes for the Celtic festivel, 1/2 hr takes you to the most amazing Saphire polishing and Inverell, The New England Highway usually offers temperatures that are far more comfortable to drive in than the coast road and Guyra as a town offers 4 very specific seasons with Snow in winter.
The town boasts 2 fantastic all weather artificial greens at the local bowling club,18 holes golf course, Tourist information Centre, shopping, Museums, and is a havens for water birds.
Visit in January and stay for the Lamb & Potato Festival 16th to the 27th in 2010
